Reminds public to keep body refreshed and healthy with vitamin-packed drinks

The COVID-19 pandemic is far from over. Even with the fast vaccination rollout in other countries, new COVID variants are surfacing.

Now more than ever, we have to pay attention to our health and well-being. As we celebrate Nutrition Month this July, we need to improve our daily habits to boost our immune system.

One of the most effective ways to strengthen our immune system is to take Vitamin C. According to research website, Gilbertlab.com, Vitamin C has antiviral and antibacterial properties that help fight many diseases.

Sources of Vitamin C

Taking supplements is one way to get Vitamin C. Other sources are fruits and vegetables such as orange, guava, calamansi, papaya, strawberry, and broccoli, among others.

Alternately, there are drinks in the market that can be an additional sources of Vitamin C. Tropicana Twister Orange contains Vitamins A, C & E while Tropicana Twister Juicy Pulp also contains real pulp sacs!

Hydration

Hydration is also critical in delivering nutrients in our body. Apart from water, coconut water is a great alternative as it contains high levels of electrolytes. Serving in a convenient form, Tropicana Coconut Water is 100 percent fresh and made from real coconut water. It is a good source of minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium that our body needs to regulate blood pressure and improve cell functions.

Using Tetra Pak’s technology, Tropicana Coconut Water stays fresh, safe, and nutritious for up to eight months of shelf life.

Tropicana Twister and Coconut Water are made by Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc., the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country.

“We have always been committed to create refreshing drinks that also benefit our consumers’ health. With Tropicana Twister and Coconut Water, we help address the public needs for healthier beverage choices as we celebrate the Nutrition Month,” said PCPPI president and chief executive officer Frederick D. Ong.

This year’s Nutrition Month calls for “continued efforts to address malnutrition in the country.” Let it be our habit to have nutritious food and drinks daily, and take advantage of healthy products that are readily available in the market.
