Pepsi Cola Products Philippines (PCPPI) President Partho Chakrabarti was a guest speaker at the Towers Watson Talent Management Summit held recently in Makati City. Chakrabarti shared Pepsi’s experience in maintaining high employee satisfaction and engagement ratings based on annual surveys conducted by Towers Watson, registering high favorable scores for employee alignment with Goals and Objectives (91%); Values (86%), and Communication (89%). PCPPI’s results rated highly compared to other Philippine-based and global companies who took part in the survey.
Chakrabarti highlighted Pepsi’s success factors in empowering employees through three strategic imperatives: 1. Communicate constantly and meaningfully; 2. Set the tone with inspired leadership; and 3. Get people excited about their role in the company.
Pepsi’s dramatic growth over the past years have been supported by various people-focused initiatives led by its Organizational Development unit. With the onward task of transforming PCPPI into a globally competitive company, Chakrabarti believes in steering PCPPI’s almost 3,000 employees with an entrepreneurial spirit but with a global outlook.
